AI Risk and Compliance lifecycle tasks in AI Control Tower
The Risk and Compliance tab in the AI Control Tower workspace lets users with roles AI Steward [sn_ai_governance.ai_steward], and AI Risk and Compliance Analyst [sn_grc_ai_gov.ai_risk_and_compliance_analyst] view and act on risk and compliance lifecycle tasks without switching to a separate workspace.
A single user can hold the AI Asset Owner, AI Steward, and AI Risk and Compliance Analyst roles at the same time. AI Control Tower validates role entitlement and redirects users to the correct lifecycle task. Users with combined roles can complete assessments from playbook without switching workspaces. The AI Control Tower displays AI Risk and Compliance lifecycle tasks on the Playbook task page. When a user holds multiple roles, AI Control Tower streamlines the workflow by presenting all relevant tasks in a single location.

The Risk and Compliance tab on the AI Control Tower playbook task page lists approval tasks and AI asset tasks for an AI asset. AI Stewards and AI Risk and Compliance users can review and act on these tasks without leaving the workspace.
Supported risk and compliance lifecycle tasks
From the Playbook task page, an AI Steward or AI Asset Owner with the required roles can complete the following lifecycle tasks without leaving AI Control Tower:

- Risk assessment
