Generate a record summary on mobile

Generate a summary of a record in your Now mobile app using Now Assist.

Before you begin, make sure that Now Assist is enabled in your instance. For more information, see Now Assist.

You can generate record summary from within the record you want summarized, or search for the desired record by asking Now Assist from the home screen.

Summarize a record from the home screen

1. Navigate to the home screen on your Now mobile app.
2. Open the Now Assist menu (plus sign) and select Chat with Virtual Agent. A Now Support chat will open.
3. Type Summarize into the chat bar and hit enter. Now Support will provide you with a list of recently opened records.
4. Select the record you want summarized.
5. The record summary will display.

Summarize a record from within a record

1. Navigate to the home screen on your Now mobile app.
2. Select and open the record you want to create a summary for.
3. Open the actions menu and select Get Help VA. A Now Support chat will open.
4. Type Summarize into the chat bar and hit enter.
5. Now Support will confirm which record you want to summarize. Select Yes if the listed record is correct.
6. The record summary will display.
