Add a video screen field to a record screen

Learn how to use a video screen field to view embedded videos in your mobile screens.

Before you begin

Role required: admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > System Mobile > Screens.
2. Open the record screen that you want to add an enhancement to.
   You can see record screens by filtering where Class is Record Screen.
3. In the Record Screen Segments list, select Details.
4. In the Screen fields tab, select New.
5. In the Type field, select Video.
6. In the Form field field, select a field from your table.
   The value of the field you select is used by the instance as a URL to an embedded video. For example, you can use the text https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aCQAbtg1Eo to embed a video from YouTube.

   Note:

   Only externally hosted videos are supported. There are no supported methods for displaying videos on your instance.
7. Select Submit.
