Update an alert description in Express List based on a Now Assist analysis summary

Update alert descriptions in alert groups or single alerts in Express List, to a human-readable summary generated by Now Assist.

Updating the alert description is available for the alert types:

• Tag-based alert group.
• CMDB correlation alert group.
• Network Traffic correlation alert group.
• Log Analytics single alerts and alert group.
• Mixed alert group.

Vorbereitungen

Role required: evt_mgmt_operator, evt_mgmt_admin

Prozedur

1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
2. In the navigation bar, select the Express List icon ().
3. In the Active alerts list, select the information icon () of an alert.
4. On the preview panel Info tab, select Analyze in Alert analysis by Now Assist.
5. Review the human-readable, AI-generated summary in the Alert analysis.
   Hinweis:

   Alert analysis is provided in English, irrespective of the language used in the alert description.
6. On the preview panel Info tab, select Update description to update the description based on the summary content of the alert group.
   The AI-generated summary content replaces the original description of the alert group.
