Update the severity of one or more SRM alerts

  • If the severity of an alert should be changed, you can manually update it to reflect its new criticality.

    Role required: srm_manager, srm_responder, or srm_admin

    Prozedur

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
      You're taken to your SRM Home page.
      Hinweis:
      If you use other Service Operations Workspace (SOW) applications, you may see the SOW Home page instead of the SRM Home page. The SOW Home page includes SRM alerts and incidents in its metrics.
    2. From the primary navigation, select Reliability tasks (Reliability tasks icon).
    3. Select the Alerts tab.
    4. You have two options.

      In the alert list view
      • To update the severity of one alert at a time:
        1. Double-click the Severity field (or use the keyboard shortcut) for the alert and reclassify it from the list menu.
        2. Select OK.
      • To change the severity of one or more alerts:
        1. Select one or more alerts using the check box to the left of the alert.
        2. Select Edit in the list view header.
        3. Scroll down to the value that you want to edit.
        4. Select from a menu, enter the appropriate text, or check a box.
        5. Select Update.
        Hinweis:
        If you select alerts in bulk, the change applies to all selected alerts. For assignments, team members are notified according to their notification preferences.
      In the alert form
      1. Select the alert to open the alert record in a new tab.
      2. Select the Details tab.
      3. In the alert form, update the Severity field by selecting a value from the list menu.
      4. Select Save.

      The updated severity is displayed in the alert and the alert list view.
