Playbook modeless dialogs

Summary of Playbook Modeless Dialogs
Playbook modeless dialogs in the Zurich release allow agents to interact with overlay windows on top of the main workspace without losing context. These dialogs enable agents to compose and post comments, work notes, and emails while referencing information in the main window. The dialogs are designed for multitasking, allowing agents to move, minimize, and manage multiple drafts efficiently.

Key Features
- Compose Activity Dialog: Used to create and post comments and private work notes to the activity stream. Agents can have one comment and one work note draft at a time, and only one Compose window can be open simultaneously. Drafts are local to the browser and cleared on reload.
- Compose Email Dialog: Enables creating, saving drafts, sending, replying to, and forwarding emails. Emails sent via this dialog are posted to the activity stream. Agents can apply email templates, add knowledge article links from the contextual side panel, and manage drafts through minimize, maximize, and pop-out sub-tab features.
- Window Management: Modeless dialogs can be moved, minimized to the In-process Actions menu, reopened from there, and closed with draft saving or discarding options. Only one Compose window per type can be open at a time, with automatic minimization when opening a new one.
Practical Use and Benefits
- Agents can efficiently multitask by composing communications without losing visibility of the main workspace.
- Minimizing dialogs to the In-process Actions menu helps manage multiple drafts and keeps the workspace organized.
- Integration with knowledge articles and email templates streamlines email composition and improves response quality.
- Automatic posting of comments, work notes, and emails to the activity stream ensures all communication is tracked and visible.
- Draft management within the browser and related lists supports continuity and reduces risk of data loss.
