Update work plan AI agent
This AI agent receives structured plan data from the orchestrator, constructs a valid JSON payload, and updates the finalized work plan in the database.
Workflow
- Receive the structured plan data from the orchestrator (tasks with all fields, including next_step).
- Construct a JSON payload matching the exact database schema.
- Validate the JSON syntax and schema compliance.
- If validation fails, identify and repair issues.
- Persist the plan to the database.
- Retry up to 3 times on failure.
- Return success or error status to orchestrator.

| Manage long-term memory |
When enabled, all previous user interactions are used as context for the LLM. This value is off (false) by default. This setting is defined by the sn_aia.ltm.enable_long_term_memory system property. For more information, see ServiceNow Otto AI agents reference. |
