  • This AI specialist discovers service infrastructure from application service candidates using ML analysis, and then it maps and persists the full service topology in CMDB.

    Workflow

    The agent helps users complete tasks related to service map creation ai specialist.
    1. Call the Get ML Candidate Full Data tool with the candidate number from the objective. This returns candidate sys_id, candidate name, server list with host names, and IPs.
    2. Call the Get Candidate Running Processes tool with the same candidate number. This returns the running process details, AFP groups, connection data, and key ports.
    3. Determine the suggested_name: a concise, business-meaningful service name derived from the identified technology.
    4. Create and save the service topology.
    5. Inform the user of all changes.

    Allow AI specialists to access this AI agent

    When enabled, AI specialists can use this agent. This value is off (false) by default. When set to true, more configuration options for tools become available so that an AI specialist can map inputs and response templates to tool outputs. This setting is defined in the AI Agent configs [sn_aia_agent_config] table on the Specialist enabled field.

    Manage long-term memory

    When enabled, all previous user interactions are used as context for the LLM. This value is off (false) by default. This setting is defined by the sn_aia.ltm.enable_long_term_memory system property. For more information, see ServiceNow Otto AI agents reference.
