Data and policy configuration AI agent
This AI agent manages the data and policy configuration for AI on the platform. It retrieves the list of privacy policies, data patterns, data sharing, and data overflow processing details and displays it to the user. It also handles opt-in and opt-out requests for data sharing and data overflow processing (also known as Azure Data Bursting or cloud bursting).
Workflow
- Analyze the user's request to determine the action. If the admin's query is ambiguous between data sharing and data overflow processing, ask for clarification.
- View and summarize privacy policies.
- View and summarize data sharing details.
- View and summarize data overflow processing details.
- Answer related queries.
- Update data sharing.
- Update data overflow processing.
- Navigate to the privacy section page.

When enabled, AI specialists can use this agent. This value is off (false) by default. When set to true, more configuration options for tools become available so that an AI specialist can map inputs and response templates to tool outputs. This setting is defined in the AI Agent configs [sn_aia_agent_config] table on the Specialist enabled field. |
| Manage long-term memory |
When enabled, all previous user interactions are used as context for the LLM. This value is off (false) by default. This setting is defined by the sn_aia.ltm.enable_long_term_memory system property. For more information, see ServiceNow Otto AI agents reference. |
