Now, 20 years later, we proudly continue this mission to make the world work better for everyone. Throughout the past year, we’ve made great progress to create and update the equitable processes, policies, and practices that allow our people to thrive. We’ve also expanded our impact outside of ServiceNow’s walls through partnerships in the communities where we live and work. Just some of our accomplishments of 2023 include: • Launching ServiceNow.org with the goal to help nonprofits achieve their missions among the communities they serve • Prioritizing skills-based hiring and professional development • Increasing representation of women globally and underrepresented groups in the U.S. • Launching our Employee Empowerment Reward program, which puts the power of charitable giving in the hands of our people • Increasing our diverse supplier spend from 19% in 2022 to 21% in 2023 • Making progress through our RiseUp with ServiceNow initiative to skill one million people worldwide on the ServiceNow platform • Establishing several new strategic partnerships, including with Disability:IN We are better today than we were yesterday—but not as good as we will be tomorrow. As the world evolves, we will continue to seek out ways to maximize our ability to deliver meaningful, measurable change. Throughout this report, you’ll learn more about all the ways we embody this purpose, every day, to achieve our ambition of becoming the defining enterprise software company of the 21st century. One of the most impactful ways we’re able to see meaningful progress is by harnessing the power of DEI data analytics. It helps us analyze performance, promotion, pay, and attrition of our talent; take a closer look at the makeup of our workforce; and more. We use analytical insights to identify areas of opportunity within processes and ways to strengthen our culture, which will ultimately help us build an organization committed to fairness and belonging. Building a better future for all We’re also making exceptional progress on our mission to make work, work better for everyone, within ServiceNow and out. Within our organization, we’re reexamining how the world of working continues to evolve. We embrace the future of work with a future-ready workforce that puts inclusive culture and equity top of mind. Human adaptability and flexible employment models are key, and we contribute to this shift by offering enhanced employee engagement in a hybrid work environment that helps our people adapt and stay connected. This includes incorporating accessibility at the very conception of our technology or leveraging our Employee Belonging Groups (EBGs) to expand our culture of inclusion. Outside of our organization, we make an impact on our communities in a variety of ways, such as contributing to academic institutions and youth organizations, connecting to the communities and causes that our people care about through paid volunteer time off and charitable donation matching, growing strategic partnerships with purpose-driven organizations, and more. Simply put, we’re doing the work it takes to create a future we want to continue to live, work, and believe in. I am thrilled to share all the hard work and progress that this report highlights—and I am equally excited and optimistic about what lies ahead for ServiceNow.
