Sidebar discussion subject mapping

Create a requester mapping to customize what displays in the subject field of a Sidebar conversation. The subject field defaults to the short description.

Before you begin

Role required: admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Conversational Interfaces > Settings.
2. Select Sidebar.
3. In the Discussion subject mapping section, select View settings.
4. On the Sidebar Discussion Subject Mapping screen, select New to create a new record or select an existing record and fill in the fields:

   Field	Description
   Active	Activates the requester-mapping record.
   Inherit	Extends and applies the feature to the child tables.
   Table	Table to which the requester mapping should be applied.
   Order	Order of the configuration. You can define multiple requester mapping configurations for a single table. The system executes the query in the descending order.
   Subject	Subject for a record.
   Domain	Domain for the record.

5. Select Save.
