Activate your translation service in Dynamic Translation

  • Activate your preferred Dynamic Translation provider and mark it as the default service for both translation and language detection.

    Before you begin

    Note:
    The following content is only relevant to NLU conversations and live agent LLM conversations that use Dynamic Translation for Agent Chat.

    Complete the prerequisites for using Dynamic Translation in Virtual Agent.

    Configure Dynamic Translation service integration credentials.

    Role required: admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Dynamic Translation > Translator Configurations.
    2. Select the name of the translation service to open the record.
    3. On the Translator Configuration form, select the Active check box.
    4. On the Preferences tab, select Mark as default for translation.
    5. On the Preferences tab, select Mark as default for detection.
    6. Select Update.
