The Usage dashboard page aggregates key metrics related to assistant usage, including the total number of conversations by assistant, conversations by channel, citations associated with the results, and the flow of conversation states.Figure 1. Usage dashboard page in Assistant analytics
The visualizations on the Usage page help you with the following.
Conversations by assistant tracks assistant engagement by visualizing conversation volumes over time and across different assistants.
Conversations by channel identifies channel preferences and usage patterns, helping you optimize assistant deployment and support.
Result types help you understand the diversity and relevance of responses provided by assistants.
Total Conversations by Assistant
This area of the dashboard shows the number of conversations handled by each assistant over the selected date range. This metric enables comparison of activity and identification of high- and low-performing assistants in the
selected period. Use this data to focus optimization efforts on assistants with lower engagement or to replicate best practices from high-performing assistants.Figure 2. Total Conversations by Assistant
Total Conversations by Channel
This area of the dashboard shows the distribution of conversations across different channels, for example, Teams, Slack, and so on. This metric shows which channels are most popular for assistant interactions, helping you adjust
channel support, and maximize reach and effectiveness.Figure 3. Total Conversations by Channel
Result Types Offered
This area of the dashboard shows the types of results, for example, catalog items, knowledge articles, and so on, offered in response to user queries, categorized by assistants.
The chart displays a horizontal bar for each result
type. The color intensity within each bar indicates frequency—darker shades represent higher counts, while lighter shades represent lower counts. Hover over a bar segment to view the exact count, percentage, and associated assistant.
Use this visualization to identify which result types are most frequently delivered by assistants.
