Add images in demand Docs or download them

  • Add images to demand Docs by uploading a file or embedding a URL. You can also download images from a Doc page to use outside Docs.

    Before you begin

    Role required: it_demand_user, it_demand_manager, or demand_approver

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Strategic Planning Workspace.
    2. Select the Demands icon .
    3. Open a demand from the List page.
    4. Select Docs from the navigation menu.
    5. Select the page or subpage where you want to insert the image.
    6. Add an image to the Doc page either by pasting it directly, uploading it from your system, or by embedding a link.

      Upload an image from your local system
      1. From the Doc toolbar, select the more actions icon and select Image.
      2. Select Choose image.
      3. Select the image from your local system and select Open.
      Embed a link to your image
      Note:
      Prior to this method, you must have found the image you want to use online and copied its URL.
      1. From the Doc toolbar, select the more actions icon and select Image.
      2. Select Embed link.
      3. Paste the link to the image.
        Warning:
        Google Images search result links might not work.
      4. Select Insert image.
      The image is inserted in your doc page.
    7. Optional: Select the image and then select the Download image icon in the toolbar.
      The image is downloaded to your local system.
    8. Align an image by selecting the image and then selecting an alignment from the Align image list.
      This image does not really clearly show the user the alignment options so I suggest deleting it.
