ServiceNow account basics
Visit Create a ServiceNow account. Submit the form and you’ll receive a time-sensitive verification code email. Your ServiceNow account will not be active until the verification process is complete.
Your account gives you access across the ServiceNow digital properties, bringing together your requested trials, content downloads, demos, training, and more—all organized in one location.
Go to the ServiceNow Account page and follow the sign-in instructions.
Your account is currently locked. Contact web_support@servicenow.com to unlock your account.

You can earn a badge in all sorts of ways, including:
- Complete courses and learning paths in ServiceNow University to build your ServiceNow expertise.
- Join the ServiceNow Community and engage with it by joining groups, asking questions, and providing helpful answers.
- Attend (or contribute to) a live or virtual ServiceNow event such as Knowledge or one of our World Forums.
- Earn ServiceNow Credentials to prove and showcase your acquired ServiceNow expertise.
The ServiceNow Resume provides a space for you to showcase all the badges you have received. This is a great way for others to see your skills and level of expertise as a ServiceNow professional. Once you earn a badge, you can publish it to your ServiceNow Resume and share it on social sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, or Twitter.
Account verification
Check if your email client has blocked the email or put it in a spam folder. No luck? Contact your organization’s IT department to unblock.

Password reset
Go to the ServiceNow account sign-in. Enter your email address and follow the instructions to reset your password.
Check your email client spam folder. Not there? Look in your IT spam filter for the email containing a time-sensitive code. If not found, contact your organization’s IT department and request to safelist incoming ServiceNow emails.
Account access

- Account created but not verified
To verify and activate your account, go to “Create your ServiceNow account” and enter your business email. A time-sensitive verification code will be emailed to you. - Browser autofill
If you’ve enabled browser autofill, manually enter your current email/password. Clear the browser cache and sign in. - Safari issue
Open Safari menu > Preferences > Privacy settings. Disable “Website tracking: Prevent cross-site tracking”. Close Safari preferences and sign in. - Extra spaces
Delete any spaces before and after your Email ID. - Caps lock
Disable caps lock before entering your credentials. - Invalid credential message
Report the issue at web_support@servicenow.com. Share your browser version, a screenshot, your registered email account, and the error message. - You’re signed out or need to reauthenticate

Change email address

What you’ll retain:
- Your source email Community data will transfer to the target email.
- You will permanently lose all Community contributions tied to your target email, including:
- Posts and comments
- Solutions
- Badges
- Important: This change is permanent and irreversible.
What you’ll lose:
ServiceNow Partners
To request access to the Partner Success Center, you need to be registered on the Partner Portal, and your user account should be associated with a registered partner of ServiceNow.
Steps:
1. Using Google Chrome, enter your email on the Partner Portal access request page.
2. We’ll send a verification code to the email address you entered. Follow the instructions in the email to enter the validation code.
3. If the account admin approves your request, you’ll receive an email with further instructions. This email expires in 24 hours. If you don’t find it immediately, Check your spam or junk mail folders.
4. Follow the emailed instructions to gain access to the Partner Portal.

On the servicenow.com main navigation, select Partners, then click the Find a partner link. Answer a few questions to describe the kind of partner you're looking for. Next, you'll see a selection of partners to compare. You can compare up to three partners at a time.
How can I save the partners I compare in the partner finder tool?
First, make sure you're signed in on servicenow.com. If you haven't selected partners to compare, follow the directions under How do I find potential partners?
If you've already selected partners to compare, click Compare at the bottom of your screen. Next, you'll see your partner comparison results. Click the bookmark icon. This saves your results in your ServiceNow account's profile and settings.
Where can I find the partners I bookmarked?
There are two ways to find the partners you bookmarked. If you're still on the partner comparison results page, click View All Bookmarks.
If you're not on the partner comparison results page, sign in and go to your profile and settings. On the left-side navigation, select My Bookmarks. The partner comparisons you've saved show on your screen.

SIgn in to your ServiceNow University account, click Help at the top of the page and click Create a Support Case.
Go to the ServiceNow homepage. Click the Profile icon in the upper right-hand corner and sign in. Click on Manage Settings and update your information.
The bookmark may not retain. Sign in using the top navigation. If the bookmark doesn't show as selected, click it again.
