Ideation & Strategy domain in the CSDM model
The Ideation & Strategy domain represents the ideas, concepts, and considerations for both the creation of new or additional services as well as improvements and enhancements to existing services. These capabilities are part of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).

The Ideation & Strategy domain supports the efforts of product owners during the initial stages of working out the ideas for digital products.
- Planning Item [sn_align_core_planning_item] table: A planning item is a type of work item that planning organizations use to visualize planning data. The planning data supports enterprise-level planning, project-level planning, and portfolio planning.
- Product Idea [sn_align_core_product_idea] table: An idea for a complete product, feature, enhancement change proposal, or suggestion that can be curated and/or promoted into demand, project, epic, or story.
Remarque :
CIs in the Ideation & Strategy domain aren’t operational, so you can’t select them for Incident Management, Problem Management, or Change Management.
