    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_align_core.apw_user

    About this task

The RIDAC home page provides a centralized view of all risks, issues, decisions, actions, and changes across your strategic planning portfolio. From this single view, you can access and filter RIDAC records by planning scope and type to focus on items relevant to your role and responsibilities.
    Note:
Users can view only the RIDAC records they have access to, based on their assigned roles. For example, a user with only the sn_align_core.apw_user role (without the sn_apw_advanced.spw_goal_user and sn_apw_advanced.eap_user roles) can view RIDAC items associated with planning items only, not RIDAC items associated with goals or EAP iterations.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Portfolio Planning Workspace > RIDAC.
The RIDAC home page opens, displaying all RIDAC records you have access to in a list view.
    2. From the left navigation panel, select a filtering option to view different RIDAC records:
      • All RIDAC — to view all risks, issues, decisions, actions, and changes across all planning item types, goals, and EAP iterations.
      • Project RIDAC — to view only RIDAC items created on project planning items.
      • Portfolio Risks — to view only risks associated with portfolio planning items.
      • Program Risks — to view only risks where a program is the top-level parent.
The RIDAC records are filtered based on your selection, and the list updates to show only the relevant items.
    3. Optional: Select the RIDAC type you want to view from the left navigation panel.
Expand the selected filtering option to view records by specific RIDAC type (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Actions, or Request Changes).
The view updates to show only RIDAC records of the selected type.
    4. Optional: To further refine the view, use the filtering options at the top of the list:
      • Select 1 condition to set conditions for filtering records (for example, by state, priority, or owner).
      • Select Sort by to sort records by a specific column (for example, by due date or impact).
      • Select Group by to group records by a specific field (for example, by planning item type or top portfolio).
The list is filtered, sorted, or grouped based on your selections, making it easier to find and analyze the RIDAC records you need.
    5. To view details of a specific RIDAC record, select the record's number or title in the list.
The RIDAC record details page opens, displaying the full information about the selected RIDAC item.

    Result

You can now view and access different RIDAC records from the RIDAC home page, filtering by planning scope and type to focus on items relevant to your needs.
