Warsaw, Poland, to serve as hub for employees and customers across region
Warsaw, Poland – June 9, 2022 ‑ ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW), the leading digital workflow company making the world work better for everyone, today announced the latest expansion of its Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region with a new Poland office and the appointment of leadership in the area.
The office, based in Warsaw, will serve as a hub for expertise across ServiceNow’s wider CEE region, which spans markets including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, and Greece. As part of the expansion, ServiceNow appointed Markus Kempkes as Head of Central Eastern Europe (CEE) and Maciej Ostrowski as Sales Director for Poland.
Kempkes, who has been with ServiceNow for almost three years and previously ran the Customer Outcomes organisation for ServiceNow in Central EMEA said, “Having worked in‑region for many years, I have a great deal of affection for Poland and its people. I’m looking forward to bringing my industry knowledge to the table and helping Polish companies work better and create great experiences for customers and employees.”
The new office and appointments represent a clear long‑term commitment to the Polish Information and Communication Technology (ICT) market, one of the largest in the Central and Eastern Europe region. New and current customers will benefit from direct access to the industry‑leading Now Platform in the Polish language, as well as having a local team that understands the opportunities for key industries in the region, from financial services, to technology, utilities, and public services.
Ostrowski, who recently joined ServiceNow from Oracle where he led the local enterprise business, said, “Poland’s economy and its businesses are changing.
