Key Features
- Team Member Roles: Two main roles are available:
- Team member read: Allows users to view project and demand tasks and add comments.
- Team member read-write: Allows users to view and edit project and demand tasks.
- Task Access and Management: Once assigned a team member role, users can:
- Use My Work to see all assigned project and demand tasks in one place.
- Use Connected Work to pull tasks into CWM Boards with flexible filters and update them directly.
- Time Card Submission: Team members can submit time cards against project and demand tasks, requiring the Timecard Management application to be installed.
- My Calendar Access: Users can view, edit, create, and delete their own calendar events within CWM.
- Access Control: By default, team member roles provide broad access to assigned tasks, but administrators can configure additional ACLs to restrict task visibility as needed.
Considerations
- Team member roles do not grant access to Project Workspace or Next Experience for Demand Management interfaces.
- The relevant SPM applications (Project Workspace and Next Experience for Demand Management) must be installed in the ServiceNow AI Platform instance to enable task visibility through CWM.
- The Timecard Management application is required for submitting time cards against tasks.

Collaborative Work Management application provides roles that give team members access to project tasks and demand tasks within CWM. Using these roles, team members can manage their assigned work through CWM features such as My Work and Connected Work ad submit time card against the project tasks and demand tasks.
Team member roles
The following roles are available for team members:

Accessing project and demand tasks in CWM
After a team member role is assigned, users can view and manage project and demand tasks in CWM through the following features:

My Work: View all project and demand tasks assigned to you in one place. For more information, see My Work in CWM.

Connected Work: Pull project and demand tasks into CWM Boards using flexible filters, such as tasks assigned to you, your assignment group, or other criteria. You can edit and update tasks directly from the board.

Considerations
The following limitations apply to team member roles in this release:
