Continual Learning in Computer Vision

The CVPR 2022 Conference will be held from June 19-24, 2022, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

3rd CLVision CVPR Workshop

On June 20, Pau Rodriguez and David Vazquez from ServiceNow Research will co-host the 3rd edition of the Workshop on Continual Learning in Computer Vision, one of the largest gatherings of Continual Learning in the world! During this workshop, researchers and engineers from academia and industry will get together to discuss the latest advances in Continual Learning, arguably one of the most crucial milestones of AI. Indeed, it has become crucial for companies using AI systems to be able to integrate new information in their models so that they can improve over time without having to re-train them from scratch. As part of this one-day event, we will explore the current state-of-the-art, as well as limitations and future directions in Continual Learning, through paper presentations, invited talks, and technical benchmark challenges.

Interested in submitting a paper? We are looking for contributions addressing a wide range of topics in Continual Learning, including, but not limited to:

  • Lifelong / Continual / Incremental / Online learning

  • Few-shot learning & Transfer learning

  • Benchmarks, Scenarios, evaluation protocols and metrics

  • Applications and use-cases of Continual Learning

  • Bio-inspired learning (memory, synaptic plasticity, and the like)

  • Curiosity

  • Multitask learning

Submissions will be peer-reviewed under a double-blind policy and the submission deadline is March 9th. Accepted papers will be presented during the poster session and some as orals. One will receive the best paper award.

You are also invited to take part in the 3rd CLVision challenge. This year, we propose three different tracks: one classification track and two novel detection tracks. The demo dataset, a smaller version of the challenge dataset which can be used to get a head start working on your solutions, will be released on March 4th. The competition will start on March 27th. Check the workshop website to get all the details and participate for a chance to win great prizes!
