Welcome to ServiceNow Knowledge 2024!
We couldn’t be more excited to kick off ServiceNow’s annual flagship user conference. Knowledge 2024 promises to be the most intelligent and inspiring Knowledge to date, with an emphasis on putting AI to work for people. Here are the highlights you won’t want to miss.
Intelligence in every corner
We’ve woven the theme of AI into every aspect of this year’s event, starting with ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott’s opening keynote, where he discusses the “how” of AI. Now Platform leader Jon Sigler continues that momentum in his keynote, where he presents our generative AI (GenAI) roadmap.
The AI focus is not limited to keynotes. It’s also knitted into 255 sessions, 25% of all conference content, more than 89 demos, and more than 45 sponsor sessions. Don’t miss our luminary session, titled “Imagination unleashed: Technology and AI through creative fusion” and presented by Vince Kadlubek, co-founder and director of Meow Wolf, and Kate O’Neill, CEO of KO Insights.
Speaking of AI, we’re piloting AI-powered session recommendations this year. Once you’re registered and logged in to the Knowledge site, you can personalize your event agenda using the Agenda Builder. The tool can recommend sessions for you based on your profile, similar profiles, and other sessions you’ve looked at.
In addition, we now have seating options for Knowledge sessions. When creating your agenda, you can choose as many “first-come, first-served seating” sessions as you want. For sessions with limited seating, we have a “save a seat” option, which lets you reserve a spot. If you’re not in your seat five minutes prior to the session start, your seat may be given away.
Women in tech spotlight
This year, we also introduce suggested agendas to make it easier to narrow down the best sessions for 22 different focus areas, including buying centers, industries, and special interests. One of those areas is women in tech, a program that addresses the top challenges facing women in the workplace.
In addition to sessions tailored to this important topic—not limited to women attendees—the focus includes a keynote by ServiceNow Chief Financial Officer Gina Mastantuono and Chief People Officer Jacqui Canney. Plus, we’ll have a networking lunch and roundtable conversation, as well as a breakout session geared to this topic.
Women in tech sessions include:
- Strategies for succeeding and leading as a woman in tech
- Smashing advancement barriers
- Identifying and mitigating burnout
Hands-on, immersive experiences
On the Knowledge Expo floor, you can take advantage of more than 400 sessions, 150 partner demos, and seven learning areas and theaters. Get a front-row seat to see how AI is powering the ServiceNow platform to make it stronger and more powerful for businesses.
Delve into immersive experiences as you explore how CVS Health is using the ServiceNow platform to power its HR systems and bring health to the world and how Siemens is accelerating smart factory transformation.
On-site ServiceNow certifications
Now Learning plays a major role at Knowledge 2024. We’ve scheduled five hands-on GenAI labs, as well as workshops, career journeys, and show floor experiences, including AI-enhanced headshots and ServiceNow test prep where AI asks the questions.
The best part is that you can get on-site certification at Knowledge 2024. We have 80 seats available each day for eight different exams, plus a dedicated testing area and laptops for rent—and we’re waiving the normal prerequisites for Knowledge only.
App building for a cause
This year marks the 10th anniversary of CreatorCon, the developer portion of Knowledge. In addition to our traditional HackZone and forward-looking product demos, we’re introducing Hack4Good. It’s an opportunity to build apps during Knowledge to benefit Technovation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in tech.
CreatorCon will also feature an automated coffee bar, LiquorBot, and myriad sessions, including, of course, some focused on AI.
Fun activities
No Knowledge conference would be complete without some fun, and this year promises plenty of it. Some of the highlights include these offerings by our partners:
- AI sketch bot by Fujitsu creates AI and robotics-based photos guests can take with them.
- Brewology by Deloitte provides attendees with specialty coffee in the morning and craft beer in the afternoon.
- Sustainable T-shirt activation by KPMG puts AI to work to ask questions that guide attendees to discover one of three designs printed on 100% recycled fabric.
- Hat’s off by Cognizant lets attendees choose a hat and watch a graffiti artist personalize it.
We’ll wrap up the exciting event with a concert by Grammy-winning superstar Pitbull.
