Celebrating API leadership and resilience

Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month: old photos of two ServiceNow employees and their families We’re proud to celebrate Asians and Pacific Islanders (API) everywhere and every day, but especially during API Heritage Month. This year’s theme at ServiceNow, “Rooted in Leadership and Resilience,” is especially meaningful because these two qualities run deep in the API community. We’re excited to spotlight two employees who truly embody what it means to lead with strength, purpose, and heart.

Drawing strength from family

For April C., sales development representative, being raised by a “tiger mom” meant growing up with a powerful role model and educator who exceeded expectations, pursued higher education, and spent more than 30 years inspiring others in the classroom. That determination shaped April’s journey in sales development and continues to fuel her drive today.

Prabal C., senior outbound product manager, carries the wisdom of his grandmother. She taught him the principle of lokasaṅgraha—a Sanskrit philosophy that emphasizes working not just for oneself, but also for the betterment of the world. This philosophy anchors the way Prabal lives his life both personally and professionally.

These stories are beautiful reminders that our roots often hold our greatest source of strength and inspiration. They show how family, tradition, and a sense of being part of something bigger than ourselves can shape who we become. See for yourself in this video:
