Jim Lesser joined ServiceNow to help turn a great company into an iconic brand. Thanks to an incredible team, they're on their way — earning a spot as #41 on the Kantar BrandZ 100 Most Valuable Brands, #3 on Glassdoor's Best Places to Work, and a place on Interbrand's "Brands to Watch" list. Jim leads a global team that builds the brand across every touchpoint — strategy, creative, advertising, experiences, content, social, media and sponsorships, and thought leadership.

He started his career as a receptionist at a New York ad agency. That experience shaped everything he believes about great ideas: they can come from anywhere — including the front desk. Jim became one of the few creative directors in advertising to step into the CEO role, leading BBDO San Francisco through a period of rapid growth. While he was CEO the business grew 300% and doubled margins with wins like LinkedIn, Meta, Wells Fargo, HP, and ServiceNow. That chapter taught him how to build not just brands, but the teams and cultures that move business forward. Now he gets to bring the best of B2C brand building into the world of B2B — where strategy, creativity, and storytelling matter more than ever.
