John Ball is EVP and GM of CRM and Industry Workflow Products. John joined ServiceNow after nearly 10 years at Salesforce, where he most recently served as the EVP & GM of their AI platform and applications known as Einstein. Prior to that, he led their customer service product line, and spearheaded the acquisition and product strategy for Service Cloud.

John has 30 years of experience developing and expanding enterprise products in rapidly growing markets and has extensive expertise in customer self-service applications and predictive analytics. Prior to his role at Salesforce, he was the CEO of KXEN for four years, where he was instrumental in leading the transition from a tools company to a predictive analytics company.

John grew up in the heart of Indiana and holds two master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Supélec, one of France’s most prestigious EE graduate schools. During his 17 years in Paris, he founded a startup and also met his wife Pamela. John and his family live in San Francisco. They love to cook, enjoy the Bay Area outdoors, and get away to the California wine and ski countries whenever possible.
