Simon Short, Senior Vice President, Customer Excellence, is dedicated to the success of every ServiceNow customer. Since joining ServiceNow and leveraging his deep expertise in customer success, Simon has been building and transforming his newly formed organization, the Customer Excellence Group, to ensure ServiceNow is the best buying decision our customers ever make.

Before joining, Simon held several key positions including Chief Operating Officer at Advanced, where he was responsible for product development and customer success and Executive Vice President of Customer Success at Salesforce. He also served as the Global Lead for Capgemini’s Digital Customer Experience (DCX) Global Service Line and as the Chief Technology Officer for the UK. Earlier in his career, Simon was the Head of Technology Business Management at Vodafone and spent 15 years as an Engineering Officer in the Royal Navy.

Simon has extensive industry experience in high tech, software and services, professional services, and retail goods & consumer products. He is also passionate about giving back to the community and is the co-founder and Chair of Trustees of ASTRiiD, a charity that connects people with long-term chronic illnesses with work opportunities.

Simon holds an MBA from Henley Management College, an MSc in Electrical System Engineering from Cranford University, and a BEng in System Engineering from the Royal Naval Engineering College. In his personal time, Simon enjoys golf, sailing, skiing, and farming.
