Cal Poly Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona, a polytechnic university with 24,000 undergraduates and over 1,500 graduate students, launched an ambitious and comprehensive digital initiative to unify and streamline administrative services for students. By providing one place to go for support services, ranging from registration to financial aid and housing, the university is enhancing their students’ experiences and freeing them to focus on why they are there–to learn.

Cal Poly Pomona chose ServiceNow because the Now Platform® allows the university to grow their capabilities. Starting with structured change management processes to reduce change‑related incidents by more than 70%, the school also uses self‑service, offering a huge catalog of IT services through the ServiceNow portal–from replacing PCs through to booking video conferences and setting up equipment in classrooms.
