ServiceNow incorporates efficiency considerations into AI design e.g. selecting the right - sized model for each task where possible and giving customers visibility and management over every AI tool running across their organization. The ServiceNow AI consumption model encourages disciplined and efficient use of AI. Continuous improvements to AI infrastructure performance are informed by insights from ongoing monitoring of energy and water efficiency at ServiceNow data centers. We continuously research ways to make AI more compute -efficient so it becomes more accurate and less energy -intensive over time. ServiceNow holds ISO 42001 certification, the world’s first international standard for AI management systems. We are on track to meet our 2026 science -based targets, as disclosed in our Corporate Sustainability Report . We are investing in approaches to measure AI carbon emissions with the goal of providing customers with visibility into their AI footprint on the ServiceNow platform. We are committed to maturing our 100% RE strategy, including exploring procurement approaches that deliver both environmental and social advantages. ServiceNow RE strategy We participate in initiatives like the RE100 global initiative, which accelerates the transition to 100% renewable electricity. Building on our commitment to support new -build renewable electricity projects, we continue our partnership with 3Degrees to expand the Community Action Portfolio initiative. Through these investments, we strengthen the positive social impact of our renewable electricity strategy, aligning emissions reductions with social co -benefits. In addition, we invest in green utility programs, purchase renewable energy certificates, and partner with our data center providers to achieve our corporate goal of 100% renewable electricity. For out-of-the-box AI skills, customers select the model provider and ServiceNow selects the most appropriate model size for each task based on performance, cost and security. For custom AI applications, ServiceNow provides customers with the flexibility to choose the model provider and size, and they can configure AI to be fit for purpose.
