ServiceNow has entered into an agreement to acquire Pyramid Analytics, a provider of a unified, AI-powered business analytics, data science, and data preparation platform. This acquisition will accelerate our vision to help organizations turn data into action by embedding intelligence directly into workflows that run the business. With Pyramid Analytics, we’ll help customers move faster, automate at scale, and drive outcomes across the enterprise.

Most analytics tools force business users to wait on data teams for answers. Pyramid Analytics will change this by letting users query data conversationally by asking questions such as:

"Which suppliers pose the highest risk?" or "Where are we seeing customer churn?" and providing immediate responses.

When Pyramid Analytics’ capabilities are combined with the ServiceNow AI Platform, customers will be able to turn those self-service insights into action—without leaving their workflows. For example, AI-driven insights can automatically surface an issue, open and route a case, recommend the next best actions, and drive resolution across IT and the business—all in one connected workflow.

Building on our data foundation

Having access to data isn't enough in the AI era—AI requires trusted data to deliver consistent and accurate results. Organizations need the ability to connect disparate data sources, extract meaningful insights, and take agentic action in the flow of work. That's the vision behind ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric, which connects, contextualizes, and controls data from any source, wherever it resides, to power AI agents and workflows with trusted intelligence.

In 2025, we strategically strengthened the governance, control, and cataloging capabilities of Workflow Data Fabric. Now, with Pyramid Analytics, we'll add a powerful, AI-powered analytics layer that enables customers to unlock even greater value from their data—whether it lives in ServiceNow or across their broader data estate.

3 reasons why this matters now

1. AI agents need trusted insights and deep analytical capabilities

Pyramid Analytics' semantic layer—with its ability to create canonical definitions for business metrics such as mean time to resolve and customer churn risk—will bolster ServiceNow Knowledge Graph with reliable business intelligence to continue driving confident decisions and actions.

This is foundational. If humans need trusted insights and deep analytical capabilities to do their work, so do AI agents.

2. We're expanding our analytics frontier

Historically, our analytics investments have focused on domain-specific use cases—giving change managers, incident managers, customer service leaders, procurement managers, and process owners the dashboards and key performance indicators they need within their workflows. These have been powerful, and now there’s an opportunity to do much more.

Pyramid Analytics will enable us to broaden those capabilities significantly with:

3. We're shortening the path from insights to action

Our single, unified platform approach perfectly positions us to integrate analytics directly into workflows, spanning not just workflow orchestration and agentic action, but now insights as well.

For example, an IT leader could ask, "Which changes are causing the most incidents?" Pyramid Analytics would analyze data across systems and surface the pattern, and the IT leader could trigger a workflow to address it—no switching tools or waiting on reports. A supply chain manager could ask, "Which suppliers are at risk?" and immediately initiate mitigation workflows based on the answer.

We’ll use Pyramid Analytics to deliver high-value solutions across IT, HR, supply chain, and other areas, combining data connectivity, AI-powered queries, workflow automation, and trusted governance. And we’re continuing our investment in ServiceNow Platform Analytics, expanding how customers can operationally report and act on their existing workflow data. operationally report and act on their existing workflow data.

ServiceNow's integrated data and intelligence layer makes our platform the place where insights meet action. Our aim is to deliver analytics that are deeply integrated with the enterprisewide workflows where work actually happens, all powered by trusted data and deployed as solutions that solve business problems.

With Pyramid Analytics, we're taking a major step forward in our ability to help organizations not just connect and govern their data, but truly understand it and act on it in transformative ways. I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead.
