ServiceNow Appoints Kevin Tumulty as EMEA Vice President, Drives Continued Growth in Region

SAN DIEGO — Nov. 8, 2011 — ServiceNow, the creators of SaaS for IT, today announced that Kevin Tumulty has joined the company as Vice President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Tumulty will drive growth across the region as ServiceNow continues to expand its global operations and build on its solid base of customers in EMEA. He will lead the ServiceNow organization into new regions while working to add and expand relationships with local, regional and global partners.

"Kevin brings an impressive record of growing markets in EMEA to our rapidly expanding global management team," said ServiceNow CEO Frank Slootman. Kevin's experience will be instrumental in executing our very aggressive growth strategy."

Tumulty brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, and comes to ServiceNow with a proven track record of growing businesses and executing global go‑to‑market strategies. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Sales for Europe at CA Technologies. Tumulty has also held EMEA, regional, and global roles in public and private equity‑backed enterprise software companies.

ServiceNow is investing substantially in growing a partner ecosystem and already has strong local partners that align with the company vision. Michael Lindner, Regional Director DACH for ServiceNow, will continue to help lead efforts to strengthen key markets in Germany, including Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich, as well as increase ServiceNow's presence in Switzerland and Austria.

To support its continued growth in EMEA, ServiceNow will host Knowledge11 Europe, the ServiceNow User Conference, in Frankfurt, December 5‑8, 2011, at the InterContinental Hotel. The event will bring together some of the largest and most forward‑thinking global enterprises that are using ServiceNow to automate and optimize their IT environments. Knowledge11 Europe will feature more than 50 keynotes, customer case studies, hands‑on workshops and training sessions in a four‑day agenda. The event will focus on the most relevant SaaS for IT service management topics such as cloud automation, service catalog, CMDB, core ITIL processes, PaaS, social IT and many other topics. This year's presenters include CERN, Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte, Orange and Tegut, along with keynotes and in‑depth sessions from the ServiceNow executive team.
