The Chinese University of Hong Kong was relying on an inflexible system to manage IT services. The difficulties were hindering job performance and satisfaction of university employees. By deploying ServiceNow, the institution is enabled with a portal for IT incidents and requests, a knowledge base, and improved visibility in to the IT services team’s performance. Now, CUHK plans to use ServiceNow to run its entire service desk and provide access to about 20,000 users.
