The market is saturated with AI customer relationship management (CRM) claims: legacy incumbents repositioning around AI, startups building entire products on model APIs, and platform players using AI to make the consolidation argument. But for most organizations, none of that has worked.

A recent PwC survey found that 56% of CEOs have seen neither a revenue increase nor a cost decrease by using AI. The ServiceNow Enterprise AI Maturity Index 2026 uncovered that only 9% of organizations have made meaningful progress with agentic, multistep workflows. The AI era has a delivery problem.

The failure sits in the foundation, not the AI. Legacy CRM was built to capture data, not coordinate work. Bolt AI onto a broken workflow, and you get a broken workflow with AI. It makes a flashy demo, and flashy demos win attention. However, only results in production win peer reviews. That's the standard ServiceNow holds itself to.

User-confirmed end-to-end CRM

That’s why I’m excited to share that ServiceNow® Autonomous CRM has been named a G2 Summer 2026 leader in:

  • Configure, price, quote
  • Customer service management
  • Field service management

These three functions build on each other in sequence, creating a cohesive, connected experience from quote to field. A deal gets quoted and then becomes an order. The order connects to a case. The case triggers a dispatch. And a technician closes the job.

Accelerated quoting

ServiceNow Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) was named a leader in the Momentum Grid® for CPQ and a leader in the Enterprise Grid® for Easiest Admin. It helps eliminate the rigid systems that once required assistance from IT to update a price or change a rule.

Practitioners describe CPQ as more than just a quoting tool: It connects the quoting motion into the rest of the business, turning a closed deal into a clean handoff to order and fulfillment.

“AI usage [and] connection to the other enterprise [ServiceNow] applications...significantly improved [our] lead-to-cash process,” reported a reviewer in the manufacturing industry.

Streamlined customer service

ServiceNow Customer Service Management was recognized as a leader in the Enterprise Grid® for:

  • Help desk
  • Customer self-service
  • Contact center workforce

Together, these span the service journey, from initial contact through resolution. Customers said work that was once scattered across systems now lives in one place. AI and automation triage requests, route issues to the appropriate teams, and give everyone involved the context they need so they don’t have to start from scratch.

“I can route the ticket directly to engineering or IT without switching apps or losing the conversation history...The built-in AI and automated workflows handle them instantly,” said Lelouch L., a senior product analyst at an enterprise company.

Intelligent field operations

ServiceNow Field Service Management was named a leader in the Enterprise Grid® for Field Service Management, the category where large organizations test whether a platform runs at operational scale.

Field teams said the scheduling engine, real-time visibility, and connected asset history changed how their operations run. A dispatcher sees the whole board in real time. A technician arrives with the necessary skills, parts, and history already loaded. A job closes on the first visit.

"The scheduling engine has been genuinely useful for us,” said Parichay B., a senior manager at an enterprise company. “It considers skill matching, geography, availability, and travel time instead of just assigning jobs randomly. We've cut down on wasted miles and improved first-time fix rates because the right person shows up for the right job."

Why this matters

Peer reviews aren't easily influenced or swayed. They’re reported by practitioners who bought the software, deployed it, and are still using it today. CPQ connects the quoting motion, Customer Service Management coordinates the work behind resolution, and Field Service Management gives technicians a shared picture. This describes what one data model feels like from inside an organization running on it.

In a market full of AI CRM promises, peer reviews come from people with nothing to sell. When reviewers across sales, service, and field operations agree, that's a signal worth building a shortlist around.
