Every year, in honor of military holidays in November, ServiceNow takes time to commemorate those who’ve served—and highlight the stories that make their service personal. This year, we asked veterans and military family members at ServiceNow to share something deeply universal: food. food.
During a humanitarian mission in Niger, U.S. Air Force veteran Kim T., executive assistant in sales, was the only woman in her division invited to a traditional dinner. There, she ate a meal that instantly transported her to her childhood in the Philippines.
Miguel D., senior principal outbound product manager, served in the U.S. Army. During his time in Baghdad, he was introduced to a dish that became a meaningful symbol of love for him.
Senior People Operations Manager Sujatha B. is the proud granddaughter of an Indian freedom fighter and the daughter of a police officer. She remembers cooking her father’s dish when he returned home from service.
