Equinix and Swiss Re Headline Group of Enterprise Leaders Defining IT in the Cloud at ServiceNow's Knowledge11 Europe

SAN DIEGO, CA‑‑(Marketwire ‑ Nov 23, 2011) ‑ ServiceNow, the creators of SaaS for IT, announced today that global leaders Equinix and Swiss Re will appear on stage with its CEO, Frank Slootman, and founder and chief product officer, Fred Luddy, for their keynote sessions at the company's user conference, Knowledge11 Europe. Taking place in Frankfurt, Germany, December 5‑8, 2011, the four‑day event will bring together more than 150 of the largest and most forward‑thinking global enterprises that are redefining IT management in the cloud era. IT leaders will share innovative ways they are using the ServiceNow IT management cloud to better serve their customers, enable virtual and cloud computing, and consolidate disparate systems to a single platform.

Speaking to an expected 300 attendees, Fred Luddy will kick off the conference at Tuesday evening's opening session with a keynote entitled Evolution of Service. Luddy will leverage his 25 years as a creator and builder of technology to explore the role of service automation in hybrid cloud computing, and the Facebook imperative. Daniel Kohler, director of IT at Swiss Re, one of the world's largest reinsurers, will then take the audience on a two‑year journey of IT transformation with his keynote, Re Thinking IT.

Leading off the first full day of the conference on Wednesday, Chris Dancy, emcee and ServiceNow director of enterprise apophenia, will interview Frank Slootman on the subject of Building the Cloud Community. The discussion will highlight ServiceNow's future growth plans and continued leadership in creating a new generation of IT service automation. Following, Brian Lillie, CIO at Equinix, a leading provider of global data center services, will share his perspective in a keynote entitled The CIO of the Future. Lillie will address what one can do to embrace and lead change, and describe how he helped position Equinix IT for success.

The final keynote, scheduled for Thursday, will be a panel discussion entitled Information Consumption at the Speed of Light. It will focus on consuming, sharing and evaluating the stream of information IT workers face every day. Join moderator Chris Dancy as he chats with three of the ITSM world's most thought provoking knowledge consumers: Riitta Raesmaa, Vice President and Partner at Sopima Oy, Ben Clacy, CEO of itSMF UK, and Stephen Mann, Forrester Research Senior Analyst.

Knowledge11 Europe will feature more than 50 keynotes, customer case studies, hands‑on workshops and training sessions.
