ServiceNow Deepens Executive Bench to Accelerate Next Stage of Growth

SAN DIEGO — Oct. 17, 2011 — ServiceNow, the creators of SaaS for IT, today announced the addition of three proven industry executives to its leadership team. Reporting to ServiceNow Chief Executive Officer Frank Slootman are Michael Scarpelli, chief financial officer, Dan McGee, senior vice president of development and customer support, and David Schneider, senior vice president of worldwide sales and services.

"As ServiceNow enters the next phase of its growth and industry leadership, these executives bring an outstanding depth of experience to our team," said Frank Slootman, ServiceNow CEO. The three seasoned executives join ServiceNow from EMC. Prior to EMC, Mike, Dan and David served as an integral part of the Data Domain management team, reporting to Frank Slootman. During their tenure at Data Domain, the company experienced tremendous growth and grew to a billion‑dollar corporation. The company achieved a successful IPO in June 2007, and was later acquired by EMC in July 2009.

These additions to senior leadership at ServiceNow support the company's aggressive growth driven by continuous product innovation and customer focus. Under Fred Luddy's leadership as founder and chief product officer, ServiceNow will continue to evolve its product strategy and maintain its customer‑centric approach.
