Real-time visibility into processes
Transforms clinical workflows
Drives out complexity
Aligning technology with clinical and business operations
Scripps Health, a private, nonprofit, integrated healthcare system, provides a wide range of medical, surgical, and support services at four hospitals and dozens of walk-in clinics in the San Diego area. Over three years ago, the 95-year old organization embarked on a large IT initiative to transform its clinical workflows, implement an electronic medical records system, and make it easier for clinical staff to focus on patient care.
As part of this transformation, Scripps Health implemented ServiceNow IT Service Management to track its IT processes. Through real-time visibility into what was happening at the local level, as well as in its command center, Scripps Health is able to respond to issues more efficiently.
By breaking down silos, increasing efficiencies, and driving complexity out of IT processes, Scripps Health is able to reduce costs and ultimately free up time to focus on IT tasks, which enables clinical staff to spend more quality time with patients.
