ServiceNow Achieves Highest Level of Cloud Security Certification in Singapore

ServiceNow is Awarded the Multi‑Tier Cloud Security Standard Level 3

SINGAPORE – 19 September 2016 – ServiceNow, the enterprise cloud company, today announced that the company has passed the highest security requirement for cloud service providers that wish to provide public cloud services for the Singapore government, financial institution and healthcare sectors that operate in the country.  This certification will enable ServiceNow to expand its business in Singapore and also opens the ability to specifically participate in public cloud services bulk tenders for government procurement of public cloud services.

The Singapore Multi‑Tier Cloud Security Standard (MTCS SS 584) Level‑3 certification is the first cloud security standard that covers multiple tiers of cloud security and has been designed for Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). It has been developed by the IDA under the Information Technology Standards Committee to help drive cloud adoption across industries in Singapore by providing clarity around the security service levels of CSPs whilst increasing the level of accountability and transparency.

Data confidentiality and integrity is a foremost priority for CSPs. In July, the Monetary Authority of Singapore released new cloud services guidelines to encourage and drive the growth of cloud adoption in Singapore. ServiceNow contributed to the guidelines during the consultation phase and continues to champion the best standard and practices within the cloud services industry.
