Duplicate a visualization on an inline dashboard

    • Duplicate a visualization so that you can use aspects of the source in a copy of the visualization while on the dashboard it sits on.

    Before you begin

    Role required: viz_creator

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Platform Analytics > Library > Dashboards
    2. Select the dashboard with the visualization that you want to duplicate.
    3. Select Edit.
    4. From the Actions menu () on the visualization, select Duplicate.
      A copy of the visualization is added to dashboard.
    5. Select the copy of the visualization to open its Configuration panel.
    6. Give the copy of the visualization a unique chart title to distinguish it from the original on the dashboard.
    7. Select Save to save the changes to the dashboard.
    8. Optional: From the Actions menu () on the visualization, select Add to Library to make the copy available to other users.
      When you add the visualization to the library, you must give it a name and, optionally, a description. Other users see the name and description in the list of visualizations in the library.

    Result

    The visualization is copied with the new information.
    Important:
    The new copy of the visualization is automatically saved.
