Set improvement opportunities for process tables

Set rule-based or automated improvement opportunities for a process table from the Classic view or Finding Builder.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_process_optimization_analyst, sn_process_optimization_power_user, or sn_process_optimization_admin

The improvement opportunities that are set for a process table will be available in the library. You can add it to any project that is based on that table.

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Process Mining > Process Configurations.
2. Select New if you want to create an improvement opportunity for a table that is not yet listed.
   Select the table from the list if you want to create an improvement opportunity for a table from the list.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.
   For information on the fields, see Create process configuration using Classic view.
4. To set improvement opportunities for the table from the Classic view, select New under Finding Definitions tab or Automated Finding Definitions tab.

   Under the Finding Definitions tab, create rule-based improvement opportunities. For more information, see Rule-based finding definition form from Classic view.

   Under the Automated Finding Definitions tab, create automated improvement opportunities. For more information, see Automation finding definition form from Classic view.

5. To set improvement opportunities for the table from the Finding Builder, select Use Finding Builder under the Finding Definitions tab or the Automated Finding Definitions tab.

   The Improvement opportunity definition page is displayed.

6. To create a rule-based improvement opportunity, select Create on the Rule-based card.
