  • The ServiceNow® App Engine Management Center (AEMC) application enables admins to manage app development from intake to deployment to production monitoring. AEMC was enhanced and updated in the Australia release.

    AEMC highlights for the Australia release

    Australia Patch 3
    • Access core AEMC features on a new platform version of AEMC from the ServiceNow Store.
    • Set up a standalone environment for deployments on the platform version of AEMC.
    • AEMC guided setup now includes ReleaseOps.
    • AEMC now displays role-based banners.
    Australia Patch 2 general availability
    • Use the release lifecycle documentation AI agent to regenerate release notes.
    • Use the improved filter feature to sort requests based on specific criteria.

    Access core AEMC features from a new platform version of AEMC from the ServiceNow Store.

    Configure a standalone environment for deployments in the platform version of AEMC.
    AEMC guided setup now includes ReleaseOps
    Streamline credential sharing between instances and automates the deployment process in ReleaseOps within the AEMC guided setup.

    Help improve transparency across your app development environment using the release lifecycle documentation AI agent, to generate update set descriptions and release notes.

    UI changes

    Filter and search for requests in AEMC
    Filter by key fields, such as status, owner, type, environment, and date, with the option to apply multiple filters simultaneously for the Requests tab. Filtered results update in realtime, and active filters are clearly indicated. Remove individual filters, reset the list to its default state, and save your commonly used filter combinations to reuse later.

    Activation information

    Install App Engine Management Center by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store.
