The ServiceNow® Buying Group application provides information on the key decision-making stakeholders of a company to whom you are trying to sell a particular product. Buying Group is a new application in the Australia release.

Buying Group provides information on the customer stakeholders involved in a purchase decision for a product or solution, supporting multiple roles and persisting before, during, and after an opportunity.

Buying Group features
- Create separate buying groups for each product family or solution within an account
- Avoid confusion or overlap and efficiently map the right stakeholders involved in different purchase decision for an account by creating separate buying groups for each product family or solution, which helps account for differing decision‑makers, influencers, and users.
- Add buying group members with different roles
- Enable role‑specific engagement, and improve alignment throughout the buying process by adding buying group members with defined roles.
- Associate multiple buying groups against an opportunity
- Improve stakeholder visibility, support complex deal management, and enable more targeted engagement across solutions by associating multiple buying groups with an opportunity.
Activation information
Install Buying Group by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store.
