    • The ServiceNow CLI application is a command-line interface that enables you to perform instance operations from your local system and include new commands that meet your application's needs. ServiceNow CLI was enhanced and updated in the Australia release.

    Important:
    ServiceNow CLI is available in the ServiceNow Store. For details, see the "Activation information" section of these release notes.

    Activation information

    Install ServiceNow CLI by requesting it from the ServiceNow Store. Visit the ServiceNow Store to view all the available apps, and for information about submitting requests to the store. For cumulative release notes information for all released apps, see the ServiceNow Store version history release notes.

    Plugins planned for deprecation

    The following plugins are planned for deprecation in a future release:

    CLI Metadata (com.sn_cli_metadata): Planned for deprecation in the C release. There is no replacement for this application.
