    Role required: sn_cmdb_admin

    About this task

Recommendations generated by the agent appear in the Business App Recommendations table, numbered with a BIZ prefix. Each recommendation displays the following information:

    • The inferred or matched business application (existing or newly proposed).
    • A confidence rating from 1 to 5 (very low to very high) and the AI's reasoning behind the recommendation.
    • The assignment group inherited from the inferred managing group.
    • Related app service candidates — the app services that are proposed to belong to this business application.

Your decision to reject a recommendation is captured and fed back into the AI to refine future recommendations. When you reject, you provide feedback that helps the AI to learn from your organization's governance rules and preferences.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Business App Recommendations.
    2. Review the list of recommendation and select a recommendation to open its detail page.
Each row shows a confidence rating and a summary of the proposed match. Higher ratings indicate the AI has stronger evidence for the match. Always review the AI's reasoning before accepting a recommendation. You might want to reject a recommendation with a low confidence ratings or unclear reasoning. Provide feedback rather than accept uncertain matches.
    3. Make your decision:
      • Select Accept to create the recommended business application and associated relationships in the CMDB. If a business application already exists, the relationship is proposed against it directly.
      • Select Reject and provide a reason. Use clear, descriptive reasons (for example, "These services belong to different business units" or "Relationship already exists but was not detected") to help the AI learn.
    4. Continue reviewing recommendations until you have processed all pending items.

    Result

Accepted recommendations create business application records and relationship candidates in the CMDB. Rejected recommendations are removed from the list and the feedback is captured.

Over time, as you accept and reject recommendations, the AI learns your organization's specific governance rules and business structures, leading to increasingly accurate recommendations.

Recommendations older than two years are automatically flushed from the system.
