Using the Test Activity Sets tool for a lifecycle event activity set
Use the lifecycle event test tool to thoroughly test a lifecycle event before launching it.
The lifecycle event test tool provides different views of a lifecycle event. The different
views available are:
- Use filters to show only applicable activity sets and activities for the subject person. For example, you can select a subject person and preview what that person will see and what tasks are assigned to them.
- You can use conditions like HR criteria to view what activity sets and activities the selected people will see and what tasks are assigned to them.
- Each activity set and activity can be assigned to specific audiences. You can view the activity sets and activities applicable to a specific audience.
- You can also view all activity sets and activities that are not applicable to an audience.
Note:
When a user matches an activity but not an activity set, the activity set and activity
will still appear.
- Inapplicable activities and sets
- When using the lifecycle event test tool, you can show activities and sets that are inapplicable for a subject person.
- Indeterminate activities and sets
- When using the lifecycle event test tool, you can show activities and sets that are indeterminate for a subject person.
