  • Use the lifecycle event test tool to thoroughly test a lifecycle event before launching it.

The lifecycle event test tool provides different views of a lifecycle event. The different views available are:
    • Use filters to show only applicable activity sets and activities for the subject person. For example, you can select a subject person and preview what that person will see and what tasks are assigned to them.
    • You can use conditions like HR criteria to view what activity sets and activities the selected people will see and what tasks are assigned to them.
    • Each activity set and activity can be assigned to specific audiences. You can view the activity sets and activities applicable to a specific audience.
    • You can also view all activity sets and activities that are not applicable to an audience.
    Note:
When a user matches an activity but not an activity set, the activity set and activity will still appear.
    Inapplicable activities and sets
When using the lifecycle event test tool, you can show activities and sets that are inapplicable for a subject person.
A subject person is considered inapplicable when they do not meet the audience criteria for a specific activity or activity set.
    Indeterminate activities and sets
When using the lifecycle event test tool, you can show activities and sets that are indeterminate for a subject person.
A subject person is considered indeterminate when there is not enough information to determine if the subject person is part of the audience.
