Run actions to resolve alert issues in Service Operations Workspace for ITOM

  • Resolve the underlying issue of an alert by running predefined remediation tasks, ensuring faster issue resolution and ensuring consistent resolution.

    Before you begin

    Role required: evt_mgmt_operator

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Service Operations Workspace.
    2. From the navigation bar, select the Express list icon: Express list icon.
    3. Select the alert number to open it.
      The alert opens in a separate tab, displaying the Overview tab.
    4. Select Launch playbook.
    5. Select the Playbook tab.
      The Run remediation card displays the available remediation actions.

    6. Select the tile corresponding to the action you want to run.
      The selected action appears on the Alert executions card.

    Result

    When the action is complete, it appears in the Completed card underneath the Alert remediation section.
