Prerequisites
- ServiceNow AI Platform Software Asset Management Professional plugin (com.snc.samp) version Australia, Zurich, or YP6 or later
- Agent Client Collector for Visibility - Content (ACC-VC) v1.8.0 or later
- ITOM URL Discovery v1.1.0 or later
- Discovery Admin Workspace v1.14.0 or later
- Enable data collection by setting snaccviscontent.enablefullmonitoring to True
- Required roles: discoveryadmin or admin
Key features
The dashboard offers multiple data visualizations to analyze URL access patterns:
- All visited URLs: Displays total number of URLs visited across managed devices since a specified date; shown only when Broad discovery is enabled.
- Top 5 URLs with the most visits: Bar chart showing the five URLs with the highest visit counts since a given date.
- Targeted URLs visited by category: Donut chart showing distribution of targeted URL visits grouped by URL category; data updates daily via aggregation jobs.
- Targeted URLs visited: Lists URLs configured for monitoring; selecting a URL provides detailed information; supports filtering.
- Other URLs visited: Lists non-targeted URLs accessed when Broad URL discovery is enabled; allows adding URLs to targeted discovery with associated metadata.
Using Targeted Discovery
ServiceNow customers can convert URLs from the "Other URLs visited" list into targeted URLs for monitoring by providing the following details:
- Internal or External: Specifies if the domain is internal or external (default is External).
- Category: Assign a URL category.
- Product: Associate a product with the domain.
- Publisher: Indicate the product publisher.
- Application Service: Link an application service to the domain.
After saving, the URL is monitored and appears in the Targeted URLs visited section. Note that mapping a SAM product to a URL requires the samuser role.

The URL Discovery insights dashboard enables you to make data-driven decisions through powerful visualizations. The data is extracted from the Application Domain [sn_acc_vis_content_application_domain] table.
Select the More options icon (), then select Refresh to refresh the data for each visualization in this section.

Targeted URLs visited
This section lists the targeted URLs visited across managed devices since a given date. Targeted URLs are those configured for monitoring in . For more information, see Discovery Admin Workspace Settings.
Select a URL from the list to view detailed information about it. Select the filter icon () to apply filters to the table.
Other URLs visited

| Category | The URL category to assign to the domain. |
| Product | The product associated with the domain. |
| Publisher | The publisher of the product associated with the domain. |
| Application Service | The application service associated with the domain. |
Select Save to add the URL to the Targeted URL discovery. The URL is then monitored and appears in the Targeted URLs visited tab.
Select the filter icon () to apply filters to the table.
