    • The Kafka connector instance form displays the fields you must fill in when creating a Kafka connector instance.

    Field Description
    Name Unique name for the Kafka Metric Consumer connector.
    Description Description to be used by the Kafka metric Consumer collection instance.
    Connector Definition Name of the required connector definition, which in this case should be Kafka Metric Consumer.
    Credentials Kafka SSL credential.
    Metric collection last run time Option is pre-selected and read-only.
    Last metric collection status Option is pre-selected and read-only.
    Event collection schedule (seconds) The frequency in seconds that the system checks for new events from the Kafka Consumer.
    Last error message This field is automatically set to the last error message.
