Important: Starting with the Zurich release, the Cloud Discovery Workspace is being prepared for future deprecation. It will no longer be activated on new instances but will continue to be supported. Customers are encouraged to transition to the Discovery Admin Workspace, which offers the latest experience for cloud discovery functionality.
Access and Roles
- Navigate to Cloud Discovery Workspace > Cloud Discovery > Dashboard to open the Cloud Discovery home page.
- Access requires the sncloudopsws.cloudopsadmin role.

- 30 Day Discovery Runs: Visualize discovery runs over the past 30 days, including their states (Active, Canceled, Completed), with the ability to drill down into detailed lists.
- Upcoming Schedules: View information on up to eight upcoming discovery schedules and access detailed schedule information.
- Total Configuration Items: Track the number of discovered CIs over time with line and area charts, and explore individual CI records with multi-source data.
- Cloud Discovery Errors: Monitor Cloud Discovery errors over time and review detailed error logs accessible via the dashboard or directly through the Diagnostics > Discovery log.
- Credentials Indicator: Displays the total count and breakdown of credentials by cloud provider, with clickable filters to view matching credentials.
- Service Accounts Indicator: Shows total service accounts and their distribution per cloud provider, with filters for detailed review.
- MID Servers: Presents the total count and status of MID Servers.
- Cloud VMs by Datacenter: Reports the count of virtual machines discovered per datacenter for Microsoft Azure, AWS, and vCenter.
