  • Starting with BCM, version 9.x.x, BCM administrators set up active phases in the Core UI for improved event task management. BCM users then map these phases to event tasks and execute them in the set order, ensuring a logical execution sequence. The phases can be deactivated only; they cannot be deleted.

    Phases in recovery

Organizing event tasks into logical phases provides a structure to the recovery activities. The logical grouping helps you to understand the progression of exercises or crisis events, maintain flexibility in execution, and navigate complex recovery processes effectively.

You can tag the event tasks to an appropriate phase such as Preparation, Recovery, Post incident review, and so on as part of recovery. This kind of mapping verifies structured and efficient handling of event tasks.
