Users, associated actions, and states for the source document import tasks

  • Managers with the sn_grc_reg_change.manager role and the users with the sn_grc_reg_change.user, or sn_grc_reg_change.admin role can view and perform certain actions on the source document import tasks.

    Views and actions available to managers

    Managers with the sn_grc_reg_change.manager role can view and sort the following types of source document import tasks:

    • All tasks
    • Unassigned tasks
    • All assigned tasks
    • Ready to Import tasks
    • In-progress tasks
    • Implementation tasks
    • Pending approval tasks
    • Closed tasks
    • My approvals

    Managers can view the import document task under the My Approvals module.

    Managers can perform the following actions on the source document alert:
    • Assign the alert to a user.
    • Update the alert with additional details.
    • Reassign the alert to another user.
    • Defer the alert to a later date by adding a reason and the comments.
    • Mark the alert as applicable or not applicable after performing an initial assessment. This action changes the state of the alert to In Progress.

    Views and actions available to other users

    Users with the sn_grc_reg_change.user or sn_grc_reg_change.admin role can view the import document task under the Implementation Tasks.

    Users can view the new source document alert under the New Alerts module.

    Note:
    For source document type of alerts, an impact assessment is not needed.
    Users can perform the following actions on a new alert:
    • Update the details of the alert.
    • Mark the alert as applicable.
    • Mark the alert as not applicable.

    States of the source document import task

    The states of the source document import task are the following:
    • Ready to Import
    • In Progress
    • Awaiting Approval
    • Implementation
    • Deferred
    • Closed

    If the alert is marked as applicable, and if the source document task created as part of the process moves to the Closed state, then the regulatory alert record is automatically moved to the Closed state.
