Configure Resource Configuration records

Configure a Resource Configuration record for the Crisis map application in UIB Workspace. You can then plot the assets of your organization on the Crisis map. The assets can be locations, employees, datacenters, suppliers, and others. Configuring resources is also required as an input to set up the alert rules.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_bcm.program_manager

Set up the Google maps for enabling the Crisis map functionality. For more information, see Set up Google Maps API.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Threat and Alert Data Feeds > Administration > Resource Configurations.
2. To add a new resource configuration record, select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   For more information on the Resource Configuration form, see Resource Configuration form.

   A sample resource configuration is shown in the illustration.

   
4. Select Submit.

Result

The resource is displayed in the Resource Configurations record page.
